![]() Wow I had no idea Apple's signing process was that tedious. Fingers crossed things continue to go more smoothly than some of my peers are predicting. I am a big fan of theirs, but they are making things extremely difficult right now. So the fact that there's even this question mark coming up now with Apple is just really frustrating to me. On day one we had OSX support as soon as that was possible, and later linux support was the same. Thus far most of the dire predictions from June 2019 when they announced their new signing requirements have not actually borne out, but it's extremely frustrating.Īrcen was one of the first developers to be a part of the rollout of Steam onto OSX, and I helped work with the Valve staff on refining a few best practices for other developers in those early days. The fact that they seem to be doing some really anti-developer stuff lately has bothered me greatly. That's really frustrating for me, because I'm a guy who loves Apple's mobile line in particular, and I've had (and have) so many apple devices, including wearing an apple watch as I type this. Normally a new build for ALL platforms at the moment takes about 3 minutes, and pushing them out to customers takes 20 minutes of mostly unattended time.Īdding on 2-3 hours and multiple extra steps would be a nonstarter for me, so for the time being I have not committer to the newer Apple OSes, let alone the new architecture. Which is a shock for me to say, but their signing process takes several hours per build, with a lot of manual steps in the middle, and I put out multiple builds per week. If they wind up requiring that, then it's likely that Arcen will stop supporting Apple products entirely. Hopefully MacOS doesn't require digital signing for their apple silicon stuff when distributed through Steam. I wonder if that's a CPU thing, with that being an architecture thing, or what. I'm really surprised that your FPS would be that low during the tutorials. Ambush turrets from battlestation plus those from military station should be able to give a nasty surprise to abominations invaders whiel you do that.Definitely a lot more user friendly, so I'm glad you've been enjoying it! Possibly you can savescum to get the right turrets on reroll but that isn't mandatory. I'd turn my station into military to free my fleets then get the GCA for turrets. Rerolling the GCA might be a way out of this, as tech-ed up turrets are significantly better and Plasma work better well versus ♥♥♥. ![]() Hopefully your GCA north has some Fusion turrets (MLRS or Plasma) that you can unlock. Can't say it's hopeless yet but it isn't looking good. and preferably ships that are also weak to your own turrets (like Concu) so that when they get Nanocaust you can wipe them out quickly. Potentially you could look for hackable targets giving you ships with bonus against the abominations. Those aren't very good and none of them have proper counter against Abominations. ![]() Unfortunately the starting fleets-battlestation-support picked here are the default ones. Concussion might be doable, as your battlestation has them so buying tech upgrade for it then spending 1000 science on the battestation to level it and its turrets further might tilt things enough to kill the abominations. The mandatory counter here is turrets, preferably high damage ones. You need science desperately to shift things around here. Military would help defend or retake planets. Assault Frigate are a bad match-up against Abominations, the later has a *4 damage multiplier against highly armoured units like the assault frigate.
